The GOFORTH Family

The GOFORTHs hale from Knedlington, York, England. I found the lineage of the GOFORTHs in a book entitled, "A History of the Descendants
of GEORGE GOFORTH of KNEDLINGTON, ENGLAND - Together with Some
Account of Other Families of the Name", FOURTH EDITION June 1988, by GEORGE TUTTLE GOFORTH, and published by Gateway Press, Inc, Baltimore.
It is a 778-page book, including an extensive index starting
on Page 628.
The book also contains a "Magna Carta Pedigree" starting with William GOFORTH born 1631 in England and died 1668 in New Jersey.
He was married to Anne SKIPWITH (1642-1722).
